Technology is not neutral. Behind “green” facades and proposals for an ecological market, which, even if it manages to express a different opinion, right- and left-wing governments are turning on the tap of funding for laboratories and research centers, maintained by the ministries of economy and finance and implemented through a network of institutions, universities, and private individuals. Thanks to patents and projects, research has long since entered the political sphere of the state and the capital economy. Presidents, ministers, and scientists are hand in hand with “development programs” and financial maneuvers.Technology equals profit. It is one of the cornerstones that governs global relations between states. It serves the interests of those in power, despite alleged antipathies and the real threats of nuclear war. Recent “trade wars” demonstrate this.Critique of technology and its prophets evolves through action against it. This concept can be extended to all aspects of struggle where conflict is sought. The offensive against the state and capital exists within the framework of revolutionary action that seeks to overthrow them.
We have attacked. We publish this communiqué because we believe our words must find a place where they will not be censored, redirected, or distorted by our actions. In an age of free-flowing opinion and ignorance, anarchist propaganda, which democracy suppresses, censors, controls, and attacks, must be expressed through action. Attack is a constant that, if abandoned, is tantamount to surrender, reducing us to mere analysis, reflection, and theory. Without action, anarchism loses its strength. With these words, accompanied by our actions, we launch a call to join the offensive.Unless we strengthen the unbreakable link between thought and action, we will never know what it’s like.We will never have our “best chance at life” until we see this world of oppression in ruins. That would be a good place to start.
